The location of this unique Mayan themed lodge allows guests to experience a jungle-like setting, while still being a stone throw away from San Ignacio Town, a tourist hot spot in Belize. 

Getting Here

There are various ways for our guests to get to Falling Leaves Lodge.

Driving

Driving takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes – 2 hours drive via private transportation from the Phillip Goldson International Airport or Belize City. 

Private Transportation

We offer a private land transfer from the Phillip Goldson International Airport to the hotel at a rate of USD $168.75 based on 1-2 people one way.

Public Transportation

There are buses that run from Belize City to San Ignacio. You can see the bus schedule online to find the right bus for your trip. This is a budget friendly option, but does take much longer to arrive. Most buses are not air conditioned.

Car Rental

Car rental agencies are available at the airport and in various locations across Belize including San Ignacio. Visitors can use a valid international or U.S. driver’s license to drive in Belize. Rental insurance is required and can be purchased through the rental agencies. Please note that driving in Belize is on the right-hand side of the road.
